Senior Care Authority serves families throughout the country through its network of professionals providing elder care consulting and personalized senior placement assistance to families seeking the best care options at home, assisted living and memory care communities.
Currently a recruiter placing finance and accounting professionals with companies, Jeremy spent the previous 9 years in corporate finance management roles. He explains:
“The business model is very similar to recruiting and also provides an opportunity to successfully help families as they deal with difficult decisions. As the eldest grandchild on both sides, I was born to young parents and had relatively young grandparents who still had kids at home. Having been raised around grandparents and great grandparents and being a part of their lives as they age, I have first-hand experience in seeing the decisions that were made as care was needed more and more in their lives. There is no better feeling than what is felt by helping others.”
Jeremy has spent the past few years getting to know companies and understanding their cultures and opportunities for employees. At the same time he met with people on an individual basis to get to know them and understand what they are seeking in an employer, as well as their career goals to create a long-term match between the parties.
He adds, “Effectively matching these parties and knowing that I’ve made people happy creates a fantastic sense of accomplishment. And creating these matches has helped me be one of the most successful recruiters in the US. The ability to empathize with those at both sides of the table plays a significant part of creating these matches."
Similarly, Jeremy now will assist each senior care family through the process of visiting a selection of communities and residential care homes, based on the family’s requirement, and support them in making the best, most informed decisions. He can also continue to mentor families on an ongoing basis once a new home is selected. There is no cost to families for Jeremy’s placement services. Instead, he earns a fee from the facility after a placement is made.
Jeremy and Lisa are married and have 4 children, and their parents and siblings live in Utah, as well. They both earned their Bachelor’s degrees - Jeremy in Accounting and Lisa in Public Relations - from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.
In 2014, the model was franchised and Senior Care Authority® is now a national company with offices throughout the US and Canada. As part of their expansion, they partnered with an eldercare consulting practice who brought another set of senior care services and skills to the company, a great differentiator for Senior Care Authority.
